This course will educate real estate professionals on the regulations and guidelines for 1031 exchange from the Internal Revenue Code, case law, IRS private letter rulings and revenue procedures. It will provide information on how 1031 exchanges are utilized in the real estate industry to defer capital gains taxes and build generational wealth for investors. The class will also go over advanced tax planning and strategies for investors, and provide valuable insight to agents to assist in structuring and guiding their investor clients.
This course will help real estate brokers understand an often-overlooked part of the real estate industry and help them explain the regulations and guidelines of 1031 exchanges to their clients, with practical examples and case studies of how ERG clients have utilized 1031 Exchanges.
This class is hosted by ERG and there are two CE credits for attending.
